Psychological support for lipoedema - together for a better quality of life

Lipoedema not only affects the body, but also represents a considerable psychological burden. Many affected women experience insecurities, feelings of shame and guilt, impaired self-esteem and in some cases even depressive moods or disturbed eating behavior. The journey from first recognizing physical changes to numerous visits to the doctor, misdiagnoses or rejections can lead to intense feelings of overwhelm and isolation. It is completely normal to feel alone or not understood during this challenging time.

We, Katharina Loibnegger-Traußnig and Laura Urban-Ferreira, are clinical and health psychologists and offer psychological support tailored to the needs of women with lipoedema. We work together to improve your quality of life and well-being. The focus of our work is on a trusting relationship, understanding and the promotion of self-care.
